Activity and Outdoor Education Instructor
The Hobbiton Association, a non-profit and public benefit organisation based in Hogsback, Eastern Cape is looking for an energetic and motivated Activity and Outdoor Education Instructor to safely facilitate and educate groups and individuals.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Chief Operating Officer of the Hobbiton Association. Duties will include being aware of implementing the roles of the Instructor, implementation of the standard operating procedures of the activities, basic first aid and activity risk assessments.
Expertise in at least some of the following skills is desirable:
- a record of leadership;
- experience in outdoor education or teaching;
- good communication and facilitation of group or individual activities.
- It would be beneficial if candidate are computer literate, have a driver’s licence and first aid qualification.
Although the commencement date is negotiable, the successful candidate is expected to take up the post not later than 31 January 2020. The salary is commensurate with that of an Instructor of a non-profit, voluntary association. The successful candidate will be based in Hogsback where there is accommodation available on the premises.
